With a heart-breaking loss in 2010 Conference Championship and the early finish last year, the Sharks have been preparing to make a stand once again in the upcoming 2012 season. Making Conference Finals two years straight, to only see the Stanley Cup just out of reach has been the motivation in the off-season. With numerous acquisitions this year and veteran goalie Antti Niemi's 4 year contract extension, nothing stands in the way of the Sharks as they storm their way into the Stanley Cup Finals! (all pending the Lock Out ends...)
